NOFI Vakos supplies PE pumping stations for both the municipal and private water supply and sewage markets
This has been a cooperation between Tromsø municipality water and sewage, Xylem and Haplast Technology AS. The first stations were installed in the spring of 2009 in Tromsø and have been well received in the market.
The pumping stations are a robust, reusable, recyclable, frostproof and sealed product designed to ensure a long service lifetime, in an environment involving aggressive liquids such as sewage and seawater.
We supply pumping stations adapted to most types of municipal systems, from small villa stations Ø1000 mm to large stations Ø3000 mm, adapted to the needs of the customer.
The pumping stations are supplied with a Flygt TOP-SUMP base for a smaller area in the bottom of the sump and improved self-cleaning properties. The pipe gallery is supplied in fully-welded PE which gives corrosion-free and tensile-grade connections that have a high resistance to impact and vibrations.
NOFI Vakos pumping stations are supplied with a complete foundation casement. The foundation casement ensures simple and cost-effective installation of the pumping station in the construction trench. An additional concrete bed and casting is not necessary to secure against uplift. The station is placed directly on a gravel bed and concrete is poured in the foundation casement.
